Our move to strengthen our ability to deliver frontier experiences at the intersection of digital and physical products.

Today the industrial design firm People People merges with Doberman to head up our growing offering within hardware design, connected products and Internet of Things.

“Digital products and services are increasingly interweaved in to our physical world. This growing field of customer experiences has become critical for organizations and brands to manage,” says Olof Ålenius, Business Development Director at Doberman. “Doberman’s two decades of experience from designing multichannel services and digital products, blended with People People’s cutting edge expertise within hardware design and engineering, puts us at the forefront of these opportunities.”

People People was founded in 2010 and has become known as a groundbreaking boutique design firm working with clients such as IKEA, Scandinavian Airlines and Electrolux. Over the years they’ve been recognized for products ranging from kitchen appliances for IKEA to the wireless shortcut button Flic, the Transparent Speaker and lately, the industry defining electric scooter Vessla, “The Tesla of scooters”.

“Merging with Doberman is a natural next step for us. We’ve collaborated for years and the notion of us being cultural twins and obvious extensions of each other makes this a dream come true. Together with Doberman we will both be stronger and able to deliver true frontier experiences.” says Anna Palleschitz, previously partner at People People and now Industrial Design Director at Doberman.
