EY Doberman flourishes in Finland

With design studios in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo, EY Doberman is now accelerating their Finnish venture, hiring Juhani Haaparanta to lead the Helsinki studio.

Juhani is joining EY Doberman from his recent role as Managing Director at the design firm Nordkapp. In recent years he has become an influential voice in the Finnish design scene, advocating for how design can truly invigorate businesses.

– We have an aggressive agenda in front of us with the ambition to build the very best design studio in Finland. Although we are already busy with many different Finnish clients, we have more or less been operating in stealth mode. Juhani will change that and I’m so happy to have him onboard! Juhani is a kindred spirit that shares our mindset and brings both the experience and true passion needed to extend the EY Doberman capabilities to our Finnish clients, says Lisa Lindström, Nordic CEO at EY Doberman.

– EY Doberman entering Finland is really an energizer for the whole industry that I’m sure will benefit a lot of Finnish companies. This is truly an iconic design and innovation firm. Very few have such an extensive track record of balancing the art and science of Design across products, brands and services. I’m proud to continue building on that legacy and my first mission is to grow a stellar team in Helsinki!, says Juhani Haaparanta, new Managing Director at EY Doberman in Finland. EY Doberman in Helsinki is currently recruiting in all disciplines to support an expanding list of Finnish clients.
